N. S. S. Foundation Day Celebration was organised at Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj College of Agriculture, Kolhapur today morning. It started by singing M. P. K. V. Vidyapeeth Geet. Dr. R. D. Bansod, Associate Dean welcomed Dr. Avinash Bhale, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Assistant Director, U. G. C. Centre for study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, Shivaji University , Kolhapur was the Keynote Speaker on this occasion. Dr.M. S. Mote, Programme Officer introduced the Speaker. Dr. Avinash Bhale spoke on “Contribution of Youth in Nation Building”. He suggested the students for reading of success stories of International Agricultural Scientists and initiate your own ideas and identity. Dr. R. D. Bansod addressed the faculty members and students regarding need for initiation and involvement in agricultural and social activities for sustainable development. Dr. S. S. Kamble, Vice President, Students Council, Er. A. B. Deshpande, Students Welfare Officer, Dr. B. T. Kolgane, Dr. D. D. Patange, Dr. R. D. Pawar, Dr. J.B. Patil, Prof. Bholane, Dr. Deshmukh, Prof. Sarvade, Smt. M. J. Patil attended the programme along with the students in large numbers. Dr. D. D. Patange proposed vote of thanks. The programme was concluded with singing of Rashtrageet.
